Ah ha! Worked at the studio today. This one was begun during my last teaching session as an experiment, using different collage materials. Then I painted over it to tie it together to some relief, but not resolved. Part of the lesson was to deal with unusual colors--the pink, the orange, and magazine tear ups. This piece caught my eye when I walked in today and I snatched it off the wall and started with oil pastels. What a great way to return...to dive into an unresolved work and make something happen. Hurrah! I'm back!

Maybe 13x16 on canvas stretched on a frame.

I see the reds of the American southwest in this work. Looks like a great re-entry to the studio.

I enlarged this photo and just love the way you used the lavender. This is one of my favorites.
