Wind Shift

Today the wind kept blowing and shifting, but the weather cooled and I could tackle the wilderness of the yard. I even fixed the weed wacker when it stopped functioning. Yeah! My son is coming on Monday evening, traveling from Cameroon, Africa with his girlfriend Shannon. I have a real deadline to make this home more receptive to these guests. They'll be in Vermont for a few days and then off to CA before Ezra heads to Nicaragua for work. He does get around.
I haven't painted since the art fair. I've been 3 times to the studio, but it has been to shift work, in, then to make it seeable and the 3rd time, friends came to view. Fun to invite folks in to see the place and the paintings. I'll have to do that again.

I'm curious about your weed wacker. Sounds like the sort of thing I might need if it ever gets back to raining here. Hope you enjoy having everyone round.

Hi Annie, hardware store for weed wacker. It's electric, does edges and I take it up the stone path to upper garden and clear out around raspberries etc. Quick measure. I ought to dig out those weeds. Alas.

I must apologise for conking out of energy recently...i still have a post or two to do on the July event...and postcards...etc... I catered for my mother's 80th recently... on top of the other months of big events Im still out of puff.

Hi Sophie, seems we are all in a whirl....yes, enjoying family time. Seeing my 2 boys together (and feeding them) is a joy!
How wonderful to be seeing your son. I wonder what stories he will bring back from Africa. Enjoy!
