Progression

It has lingered in the unfinished state during our hot days when I didn't spend much time on the 3rd floor of the old school, but now I have a 3 day art festival coming up on July 30 and I need some of this new work prepared to show. Amazing how a deadline makes me form some decisions on resolution.

I've also been working on this very textural one.  Maybe 20x30.  it's good to get some distance on this and look at it through a different lens.

Details just for the fun of it.  Hope you all have a good weekend with inspiration moving you.

Greetings Maggie,

Deadlines can work wonders while also create a mental block for some, however in your case it has produced some wonderful art.

Warmest regards,
Egmont

hi Maggie, Progression looks terrific, full of energy, which seems to come from rocks and water. I agree that it was impossible to work during that hot spell; I'm glad it's back to more normal temperatures. Have fun at the arts festival.

Hello Egmont, so nice to have your words here. yeah, I do get pumped by a deadline.

Thanks Altoon for your compliment on Progression, actually there are many progressions in it so might just change that title. "Full of energy"!

Mary Ann, sometimes it hampers the whole when one falls in love with the details. I hope I have sales to enjoy!
