What Lies Below, preparing for the show

This painting found its way to revival in yesterday's studio exploration.  Since I have 3 shows to prepare for in january, I needed to get to the studio to consider how my paintings form into groups.  This one will go into the show at Studio Place Arts "What Lies Below", as textures of fabrics began the form of this piece.  Only 12x12, oil and fabrics on cradled board, it seems to have elegance and presence.

My review has already come out in Art New England Magazine and I have been granted permission to make a pdf of the article.  I hope now I can attach it here.  Well, I could put it in here in jpeg form only.  (I still have so much to learn!)
