Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and hopeful new year!
A walk by the Winooski River checking out the ice making. It has been bitterly cold, but it's movement slows the freeze over. Another way of seeing the river and its banks. Glad I had my camera in hand. Almost felt like making art to take some photos.

Beach scene...not quite
This curve is a curve I recognize from my work. We artists are picking up forms, lines, colors as we walk our path. Joyous walking of the path, blessings to all!

Oy, I'm overwhelmed with the richness of your blog. I, too, live for color (and line). Poking around here is just a treat for my eyes. I'll certainly be back for another visit.
Very inspired images, Maggie. I am in love with Puppet Cities!! What awesome work I would love to see in person. I wish for you a fabulous 2010 filled with every good thing :-) m.a.
Welcome Crayons to my words and images...glad to have your visit and so pleased that you've left me a message. Let's talk more in 2010! Blessings
Thank you, Mary Ann, for your visit...Yes, I did have a moment of inspiration and Delia's work is certainly a treat. She is such a story teller, a brilliant woman with a terrific sense of humor. This comes out so well in her work. I'm trying to instigate the next showing of this work...3 4x8 panels carved with many doors and windows in which the puppets present. Happy 2010 to you and yours!
Happy New Year Maggie. Lovely photos.
