As one year rolls into the next

Sugar coating...sometimes the snow can feel so fresh.  This was taken from my bathroom window some days ago.  As the snow as been raging all day, I look forward to the viewing when light comes again tomorrow.  These last 2 days I feel I have been hibernating and just this evening I am starting to reclaim myself.  I was gifted by myself and others new technology which has its advantages and disadvantages.  I actually forgot about the new traveling camera and I wondered where some photos I had taken were...so, found and I'll share some with you.
For my open studio I laid out this grouping.  I had planned for them to go into the show at Studio Place Arts but that wasn't to be...and I did want to see them together.  12x12 collage paintings
Odd studio shot with some painting we were discussing..some new, some not.
Love witnessing growth wherever/whenever I can.  Yet to be able to offer the object up as a good photo can be a challenge.
These deer were spotted just across the drive munching on my 'leftover" flowers.  Monkshood, I think.  Their fir is so thick and they stayed so long I could run for the camera and still get several shots before they were uncomfortable with my stare and moved along.
Pink!  Baby girls have come into my life just lately.  I'm making hats and booties and will give this small bowl which says "joy" within.  I don't know if the booties will be given; they almost might stay with me for a while.  Peaceful Christmas, simple gifts.  More to come when 3 Vermonters (us) travel south to MA to visit with family there and with Ezra and his gal coming in from CA.  Our holidays extend into January this year...flexibility, gatherings, sharing laughter, and then finding peace and inspiration in this new year.

Wishing you all a continuing blessed holiday season and a new year filled with abundant hope, joy, and creativity.  Namaste.
