This process piece has found some resolution and that feels like achievement. I was sitting on the couch feeling "low"...not knowing what I was doing...doing nothing, and that wasn't feeling good. Was I sick, or sick at heart, or waiting for something to pull me up? Yes, I could get up! I had the boot, paints in boxes packed from the studio, and I had unfinished--unresolved paintings that I could at least consider. It went "up" from there and once the paint found the palette, a nice glob squeezed out, some wax substance softened, and it was movement from there til several paintings had been touched and I was touched, feeling alive again. Art saves!Worked today at Artisans Hand, clerking, getting prepared in the gallery for the big sale starting tomorrow to celebrate 31 years of successful business. Tired tonight, but glad I could do it. Tomorrow we travel up north for the presentation. I sent off a slide show in Quick time and Sarah at Art House liked it! Yeah! More to do......

mmmm, we create our own worlds and can make the choices that make them rich or not - you obviously made wonderful choices and reaped the rewards - life is good :)

being deep in the process of creating art is good for the spirit and when one is doing it, time just passes way to fast.
As I look at the artwork I see a heart . . . for me it has special significance.

Yes, Jeane, I do feel I am led to make some wise choices and I am blessed for it. And Egmont, I looked again with a heart in my thoughts and see what you mean...it has stitching in the rent...like many of our hearts do.
So amazing how mood leaves when the painting begins...as well as time. This piece is strong and beautiful! Sounds like you will be busy in the coming weeks!
Yes, Mary Ann, the holidaze begin. It is the time of year i can actually make some good money, but it is hectic keeping all stocked and prepared. A juggling act.
